OMG I was literally just looking at that exact car.

I say NP. I'd already own it if I had the space.

Still think mine for $9500 was a better deal (although the mileage is definitely much higher).

you got a stupidly good deal that doesnt come along very often, thats the difference. One of my friends got a e39 m5 with 103k miles on it for 12 grand because the owner was having a fire sale before he shipped off to Afghanistan, his car is easily worth 14-15 grand.

Yeah, agreed. I don't think I would have bought it otherwise honestly, knowing how temperamental these things can be and all the little shit that adds up on them. The price was too good to pass up. And, yes, it's ridiculous how cheap E39 M5s are getting. They might still be favorite M5, performance-wise. I'm just terrified of owning/maintaining one with all of the little issues they're known to have. I'd love one in Le Mans Blue with a caramel/burled wood interior...

I have a friend with that exact car/color/trim and have spent considerable time both riding in and driving it. Pursue your dream - it's worth it!!

And maintenance hasn't been bad, we even did the clutch in a friend's garage (so we could borrow his lift) -
